Recruitment

Deciding whether or not to join a fraternity or a sorority is a big decision.  For those interested in exploring the possibilities of "going Greek," there are many ways to approach it.  An excellent resource is the MSU Go Greek website.  There you will find important dates and information about formal recruitment, and other recruitment events such as the Go Greek BBQ.  In addition, you can find contact information for various Greek chapters and explore the many service and philanthropy activities organized by these organizations.  If the "web" is not your thing, you can "ask around."  Did you know that there are almost 3,000 students members of Greek letter organizations at Michigan State?  If you see someone wearing letters around campus, or have a friend who is in a chapter, ask them why and how they joined.  If you are not comfortable with walking up to strangers to get information, you can always e-mail any member of the Interfraternity or Panhellenic Councils.  These people are excellent resources to give you direction in your search for information on Going Greek.  Their e-mail addresses can be found on the Go Greek website.
