Spartan Life

Spartan Life is:

• A resource guide to campus programs and services, and; 
• A collection of rules, regulations, rights and responsibilities for students.

The handbook is broken into 3 main sections:

Part I has information and services designed to help students navigate and take advantage of opportunities.

Part II includes general student rights and responsibilities regarding personal and academic conduct, and the procedures for the creation of such regulations.  It also defines channels and procedures for student complaints and grievances.

Part III lists various rules, regulations and policies that apply to students, including but not limited to the General Student Regulations , the Residence Hall Bill of Rights , student group regulations, administrative rulings, all-university policies and selected ordinances.

SPARTAN LIFE is revised and published annually and distributed widely across the campus. Hard copies of the document are available through the Department of Student Life, 101 Student Services . The web version, which is updated year-round can be found at: http://www.vps.msu.edu/SpLife/default.pdf
