You, as a new student, are REQUIRED to participate in this event. New Spartans will meet other new students in their college, the Dean, Faculty, Academic Advisers and upper-class students. This session is an essential way for you to learn about what it takes to be successful at State. “Colloquium with Your College” locations are listed below.

Follow the designated signs to enter the building. At the end of the Colloquium, you will be able to attend the College of Engineering's Resource Fair on the Breslin Student Events Center Concourse.

Lyman Briggs College looks forward to welcoming the incoming Fall 2021 class to campus! For College Colloquium on Tuesday, August 31st, we will host small groups to facilitate community and connection as our first-year students begin their journey at MSU and in Lyman Briggs.

Incoming students can find their Colloquium Group and Location Assignments at: This information will also be sent to their MSU email, posted around Holmes Hall, and provided by their Peer Support Mentor. The majority of small groups will be offered in-person and located in or around Holmes Hall. We will offer a virtual small group option using zoom for students who wish to engage remotely instead of in-person.
